Help sinking clutch pedal on Evo 9
Hello,
I have an Evo 9 with a slow sinking clutch pedal. If I park the car for a few days the pedal sinks to the floor board. Only thing I have done with the clutch pedal is shorten the engagement point so you have to push the clutch pedal all the way down to shift gears. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Sam

There are no leaks @ the master/slave cylinder. The car drives normal except when shifting @ full throttle there is a slight delay in engagement (not like a slipping clutch)
Thank you
Thank you

There's air in the system somewhere, somehow. Either the lines, slave, or master need to be replaced.
Have someone push the pedal down while you watch the level in the master cylinder. If it rises, the master cylinder is bad. There's a chance that it's still bad even if it doesn't rise, but it's worth a shot to check this. You may have a leak in one of the internal seals on the master or slave. The last time I had a clutch issue that was hydraulic, I replaced the line and both cylinders because if the master goes bad, then any contaminants usually end up in the line which then travel down to the slave. I'm kinda **** about that kind of stuff, though.
Shoot me a PM if you need any parts. I'd suggest a stainless steel line if you decide to replace it, and there's several options for master and slave cyls.
