No need to wait 10-15min, disconnect the NEG batt cable and hold the break down for 15 seconds reconnect, if done correctly your time should read 1:00 and if you had a cd in the player it should eject.

Sorry dude but it is possible, The EVO ECU is very very sensitive. the stock intake pipe is pretty small this causing a starvation of air. I know that you have read several posts about people loosing hp becuase they install a intake. The reason for this is because aftermarket intakes are usually 3" in diameter causing a larger airflow and the ECU will see this causing the ECU to dump more fuel and you to loose power unless you retune your car. This drastic change can cause your ECU to throw a code after time. This is the last time I will probably respond to this becuase I don't think it is worth a pissing match so please take this for what it is worth. Have a good day.

I've been seeing boost spikes as high as 23 PSI (In 9F weather no less) with my AEM intake in place and no SES light, for what it's worth.

I can make my car throw a ses light on command. Feed it the right conditions an vio' la a new light on my dash... Mitsu corp is working on a fix My car did this stock and modded... Next time read the code it's prob. p0300 random misfire....
