Oil pump and Balance shaft sprocket removal
Alright I am tearing down my 2.4l block for a build but I am not sure what to do here. All that is left in the bottom end is the crank, and the balance shafts. How would I go about removing the sprockets attached to the balance shaft to remove the sprockets? I want to get the crank out of the block by tomorrow night.

If the timing belt is already broken or removed, I usually just pop the oil pan off and hold the balance shaft with a pair of channel locks and hit the nut with an impact gun. I don't put them back in anyhow so it doesn't matter if the balance shaft gets scarred up. Just be careful not to nick the crank when doing the upper one. Feel free to PM me if you need any more help.

Thanks, I had a brain fart and for some reason I thought I had to have the sprockets off the shafts in order to get the front case off.
