Borg Warner EFR 7670 T4 1.05AR - Detailed Pics

I took a bunch of pictures of my 7670 when it came in and after I put in my turbospeed sensor and the Full-Race Block off plate. Thanks to BW and Full-Race for making this turbo a reality!

i got one too

Looks like they took off a lot of material on your turbine shaft nut (at the end) too.

Spin it with your fingers, does it look wobbly?
The blades are perfectly aligned with the housing, but the end of the shaft looks wobbly on mine. This will be why they had to take off so much material.

Ernie, what do you think about the quality of the castings? The housings look rougher inside and out than the earlier version that I got and eventually sold to leetevo...

Your turbo goes to 11 ... sweet.

Next post should be a dyno chart.

The housings feel as smooth as my North Face jacket. I'm pretty impressed.

I plan on doing a little bit of cleanup on the compressor outlet and the turbine inlet.

I figure 120 grit flap wheel on the compressor outlet....very lightly.

And some 180 grit sanding cartridges for the turbine housing... and maybe a flap wheel if the geometry allows.

Neither side requires a carbide.

I'm shooting for a wider powerband than either of these below... with an additional 100 hp everywhere.

Should be pretty similar to leet Evo's dyno chart, but with an extra 50whp @ 8500.

I'm not digging in that monster thread with you and Dave going back and forth.... That is if it still even exists....

I'm sure it will be sick. Guessing you are building the manifold, dp, etc?

I'm running S3's, MIVEC, 2.235L, and a Magnus v5... mine will make more top end for sure...and probably everybit as much down low.

I'm doing the manifold, dp, dt's, exhaust, ic piping, intercooler end tanks, intake, etc. I'm contemplating using 20ga 321 stainless rather than Titanium for most of the exhaust. I'm also looking at doing a 3.5" or 4" turboback rather than a 3" system.
