Major exedy twin problems please help
Ok i bought a used exedy clutch.I had my good freind who is a mechanic take a peak at it and he gauged the disc at 3.8 mm.He said it looked descent and that it would be ok to install it so i had it installed.Today i went to the local track to run the car only to find it cannot be launched at all its like its not fully disengaging it basically starts to vibrate the whole car violently.Basically i had to let out or something would wind up being damaged i thought it was wheel hop when others there said it was not hopping at all its like its like the disc are not grabbing the pressure plate. If anyone in here could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.THANKS GUYS

Have you adjusted your clutch pedal?

Have you bled the clutch line?
Also, while using the Exedy Twin, you should also remove the slave cylinder clutch pill.

Now that I know it shakes badly, I would bet the pressure plate is bent.
Also, the rev'ing definitely indicates an engagement issue.

Hard launch, mileage or an incorrect installation of the clutch. Or maybe something simple like the clutch dics themselves need to be replaced.
Not saying it was installed wrong in your car, but perhaps the original owner had a problem with it and sold it.

pretty sure he wasnt having problems with it his car got repossesed so he parted out some of the aftermarket stuff for quick cash,as far as a hard launch it has not been lauched by me yet i tried and experienced this problem therefore gave up when it started to vibrate.
