I won't have the cams for about 1 month. That is fine because I pick the car up this week. This will give me time to put the breakin miles on the car. So the the head bolts are not needed? Because the labor to install them is sick. But you think the valve springs are needed? Thanks Mike

i have ask the question before , but this post fits more on it . I have 264/272 not install at least (not yet) and im debating if i need the ARP head bolts as well. Does it require the removal of the head ?? Also if you stay with in your stock rev limiter 7600 do you need to upgrade the valve springs ????

Whether to install new head studs depends mostly on how much pressure you expect to exert on the head, which is most directly impacted by boost level.
If folks are replacing cams and head studs at the same time, it's likely due to ease of installation, rather than a direct need for new head studs with new cams... Since you're going to take off the top 1/4 of the engine to put in cams, installing head studs at the same time can save you some time or money.
I installed new cams recently and didn't touch the head studs, but if I go in there again, I will think seriously about doing the head stud replacement, now that I'm a bit more familiar with the territory.
