ID2000's overkill?

Going to be getting my '03 evo8 tuned on e85. Just wondering if the id2000's are overkill for my setup. I wont go into detail but just the basic setup it has.

AEM EMS
2.0
FullRace twin scroll t4 with the new gtx35
HKS Cams
Walboro with inline bosch 044
Unknown aftermarket pistons/rods
Shep transmission & transfer case
etc....

Sorry for being so vague. Just wondering if the 2000's are overkill or if I should just stick with them. Trying to see if we can get 550+ on e85. Once the motor goes, ill build up the bottom end.

Those should be good for the amount of power you trying to make.

A little too big never hurts. Then there is room for even more HP!!!

Its always better to buy injectors that will allow you room to grow, this way you dont have to buy another set. A good tuner will be able to dial them in no problem. FWIW, I run PTE 1200s on my stock 9 turbo on e85 no problems at all. The FIC 2150s are also a popular choice.

It will leave room to grow if you ever decide to make more power in the future.

I would go with those injectors, and you still have room to grow

From what I have read they are good injectors, but yes at close to $1,000 they are overkill for 550 HP. Other injectors in the $400 price range will work well in your set-up. Guess it depends on how much you are willing to pay to have the extra headroom that the 2000's offer.

Go with the ID2000s. Espcially if you wanna be on E85. Plus you never have to worry about changing injectors if you decided to go even bigger. Its never an overkill when dealing with your fuel system. I run the ID2000s and last log my IDC was 80% when i was running 9.1 consistently. Just my 02

1680cc should suffice. High z injectors can be run up to 100psi base fuel pressure which also allows for greater fueling than what they are rated for at 43psi
