id say just go with the black because youll regret it later if you get to small of a turbo. youll endup buying the red and then want more power out of your car and hate yourself for it. plus the dual bb black is out now which is nice

A red is mega laggy?? Lulz.
Green = low end punch with potential for good top end if modded right
Red = slightly less low end punch but still plenty available, best compromise between Green and Black.
Black = great midrange with plenty of available power up top. Laggiest of the three and its missing the low end kick you may be used to. But once it hits, it hits very hard.

Ive seen Reds make 550+ with no problems mind as well just go with a Red. You wont be making any more than 500 if you are on the stock block and you will still have some room to grow. Also you can easly get into the tens with it.

I was gonna say, if the red is laggy, what would you call a 6262, etc.? lol
Some people just think anything beyond a stock 8/9 turbo is laggy .
I personally dont mind lag, as long as it makes up for it in the top end. I am probably getting rid of my hta green for a 35r. Of course, it will be laggier than the green, but Ill get that "OH ****!!" feeling back when full boost hits, something the green doesnt do for me.

If anything, have your tuner tune for less timing down low so you dont have that jolt of power that the stock internals hate. Even with a red, you can surely get close to pushing the block to its limits. The power potential up top with a black is greater and you have more room to play with when you need to build a motor.

I dont mean to steal the op's subject here lol.
I would go with the black from your two choices. Like just said, the black will be able to see its full potential once you get a built block. The red would too, no doubt, but the black will have the highest power gain compared to the red.
