BBK-B BB release date?

BB is being chosen for the reliabilty sake of the bigger wheel stock frame style turbos. More expensive but apparently the better choice and the reason FP and CBRD have gone this way.
Chad saying the BB-BBK-B spools like a full is another benefit of the BB design as well.
Looking forward to hearing more about the possible "C" option.
I like the fact he always has a idea up his sleeve......

As mentioned in this thread and the Ball Bearing Goodness thread my car is one of the testers for this turbo. The car has a stock block and is running on 93 octane.
Having had the BBK full, BBk-B, and BBK-BB, I personally feel that this is the best one yet. It spools the same as the BBK full, which is slightly slower than stock.
I picked up the car the friday before Christmas. I have been very impressed with the new turbo so far. It is a surprisingly noticeable difference in feel and response. It is totally different feel just driving it normally at freeway speeds in 5th and 6th gear. Both are much more usable than before.
Driving hard the response is great, it is almost back to stock feeling response with spool. It also feels a lot smoother, when the power builds it is more linear feel. The torque comes on more quickly but doesn't have as hard a hit as it reaches full boost. Definitely easier to drive smoothly flatout coming out of corners cuz the power delivery is much smoother.
I love the sound, feel and responsiveness, that response with this power level feels like the way the evo should come from the factory.
I always thought I would eventually go bigger but I would love to build the motor and try to push this to 500+whp on pump. I can't get over how good it feels coming off throttle to on it and from partial throttle to flat out. I will try to post some vids of the boost response. The spool going from say 3psi to 28psi is ridiculous. This turbo is sick, it has impressed me the most out of the turbos I've had. It is a perfect combo of power and response.

*edit*
Found some prelim numbers in another thread.
This is 3rd gear- from his BBK full versus 3rd gear on his BBK-B-BB- nothing else changed BUT the intake pipe from Perrin to our SS test unit (3" with adapter)- otherwise the same stuff-
this is an evo IX MR- was done on stock wheels (not the 18x9.s)- so 4th gear shows about 450-500rpm quicker spool than 3rd- but I kept things consistent-
Nice curves- this is on a stock actuator- we are doing some actuator testing now-
you can see it is all but matching the smaller BBK-full on spool up- running slightly more boost up top- and making 40more whp or so-
more to come-

^^^^ WOW! And from my understanding, 27.XX is pretty much max for what Chad recommends for the Full on 93 octane, and the B is just getting started at that level. 3 more psi, and watch out. The BB BBK-B will be crushing it. Can't wait to get my hands on one!!!!
