Sorry to hear that. It was that high torque number that got you. I ran my Red at 520hp/405torque for over a year. Even still, I just sent out my block last week for an upgrade.

I made 531 whp and 469lbs of torque on 93oct with 31psi on the stock block and decided to turn the boost down to 29psi to keep it safer (now at 502whp). I have 5k miles on the tune and am still running great, but I'm putting my 2.4lr in next month... Lmk if you want a good stock short block with only 52k on it.

4g64 may seem cheaper, but the extra parts and possible complications makes it not worth it. Keep it simple and get a 2.0LR. You're easily looking at $5k - $6k to get her back on the road.

I have a couple core 2.4 blocks. Depending on your rod and piston choice I could have one out to you fairly soon. Theres not to many added parts going the 2.4 route. You just have to make sure its timed correctly! The core charges are quite a bit less. Its usually a good idea to leave a safety margin when tuning especially on the stock block.
