rpm at 70 mph
Found my own answer https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ar-speeds.html
I thought this info would already be somewhere, but didn't find it in a search, so I will ask the simply question:
For the 2006 USDM Evo, at 70 mph, how many rpm should you be turning in 6th gear on an MR (assume stock wheels and tire sizes)?
Same question for 5th gear on a 5-speed non-MR?

In 2006, on the 5 speed, I think 5th gear is 0.761 (changed from 0.72 in 2005) and the final drive in 2006 was 4.529. This would be equivalent to a drive gear of 3.447
In 2006, on the 6 speed, I think 6th gear is 0.693 and the final drive is different at 4.58. This results in an equivalent drive gear of 3.174.
So I assume there would be a bigger difference in rpm at 70 mph in the highest gear. Or did the five and six speed Evos all have the same final drive?
