Not even ball bearing man! I spoke to robert and you can upgrade your jb if you want to bb with no problems. I'll build my motor later and send it for bb upgrade. It'll require less oil, improve spool slliiiightly and have smooth transient response between shifts.
If I were you, get bb fp black new from robert or spec ops ported and dont ever look back.
Kills on high way duty and is great for gas mileage since you're not boosting all day like stock turbo.

Let me know if you need any personal tech help. I'll be more than willing to take the time and make sure you are getting what you want and need.
Thanks for chosing Spec-Ops Motorsports.

OP, I agree with everyone else. Just grab yourself a ported DBB Black and never look back. I am the largest supplier for FP products, and promise the best price, and one of our shop cars holds the world Record at 750whp on a DBB FP Black. I also personally tested the DBB unit before it was ever released and I tried to destory it on purpose and couldn't, not even on a 45psi spike reving to 9k.

I have the GT3076R drop in that I had Blouch turbo port and install the GT3582R chra into. I am now buying a T3 kit so was going to send back for a T3 housing turbine and 4" compressor housing, for $700.
If interested I will sell my newly under 100 mile ported and rebuilt $3582R with Buillet wheel upgrade for $1200 plus shipping that way I can buy a PT6566 for my T3 kit

35R Kit.
I know it's not in the options, but it will make the most horsepower at lower boost levels and be reliable.
If i had to choose from the 3 options though, I would choose the FP Black. The turbine housings and compressor covers that come on the ATP kits are not the best for performance.
