its a shame project bastard 550550BBK didnt bolt in other turbos like they planned. especially the HTAgreen. no one has ever done a back to back with those. project bastard had high compression. very important key to high HP small turbo setup. limited air flow should have small combustion chamber to fill to maximize the setup.

plus they swapped to a garrett core fmic when they changed turbos while ours had an ebay fmic during testing LOL!

I do agree with you though- with upgraded wheel on stock turbine- it makes for a massively quick spooling setup with good power potential, but as soon as you add the turbine upgrade you find that you are making same power- EASIER-

thanks for input-

I have a 71hta that I will submit for some back to back testing, and if somone will split dyno time I will drive my turbo to the dyno so we can make an excellent comparison. if somone with a BBK full in the NE PA, or downstate NY would play!

Thats my offer, this thread is great, a third party test comparison would be the icing on this already great discussion.

If when set up for road racing with a mind to keeping combustion chamber temps down by not choking the turbine up top, the BBK Full seems to be happy at 24 psi, with it starting to choke above that up top as seen with torque drop off and loads dropping.

At what point does the BBK Lite/HTA71 start to choke up top?
