i'd like to know what you put down with your red, do you think the car is good for a 10sec pass on pump gas??

Without getting into the turbo discussion (they're both great choices, I have a regular BBK Full myself and can't praise CBRD's customer service enough), if the car is still down, I'd invest in something better than a single disc ACT clutch for your build.

I would hope so, it already went 10.85@137.7 on pump gas on the non BB Green 100#'s heavier, anything slower would be a total failure.

Crappy 325/45/17 Kuhmo XS's, only made one pass that day, very easy 5500 rpm launch.

Curt: Are you saying that the BB Red is spooling up only 200 RPM slower than the BB HTA Green and producing 50 ponies more? Have you dynoed, or VD'ed it yet? Or, is this just with the Butt Dyno?

I'd go with CBRD's BBK over any other turbo. Great spool, awesome top end power on the Full. Can imagine the BB variant is ridiculous. That, and no one can beat CBRD's outstanding customer service!

I deliberately chose this clutch over a twin plate because I want my car to feel as quiet and as close to stock as possible. My other option was a Twin Plate but I didn't like the noise they can produce and I want to be happy using my car as a daily driver in traffic if I have too.

The ACT is rated at being able to handle a max of 508ftlbs torque which will be sufficient for now.

It would be easier for me to go with a FP Red BB because it would be a straght swap (oil feed pipe etc) but still weighing up the options. Remember my car is a 2.2L so the 0.2 increase in displacement will help spool up too.

be careful I think that is flywheel rated. I am on a 2.4 so the displacement will make a difference.
