Clutch Options for 600+ TQ: Exedy Triple vs Quartermaster 8 leg vs ATS triple

I currently have a Carbonetics Triple carbon and I think it needs to be rebuilt. When I get the xfercase swapped out I will be addressing this with the following option.

Brand new QuarterMaster 8-Leg with HRB

Exedy Triple Carbon

or

Rebuild my current Carbonetics.

I don't care about noise. I don't daily my car but I do want the option too (AKA I don't need an on and off switch). I'll probably put about 20-30k on the car max so longevity is somewhat of a concern.

Currently I'm about 577 lbs of TQ. I'll be retuning on the BB 6266 so I'm sure I'll be over 600 lbs of TQ when I'm done.

I don't mind an agressive clutch but it does need to be drivable in stop and go trafic for the times I feel like driving to work or running an errand.

The reason I have these choices listed is because they are all about the same price for me.

I haven't researched the best price but it looks like I can get the QuarterMaster 8Leg for about 1600-1700 with the HRB, I can get the Exedy for about 1900 (maybe a bit less like 1700) and I rebuild my Carbonetics for about 1600.

Thoughts?! Opinions?!!

As personal experience with a triple carbon exedy with about 1000 hp and 950 nm of torque i can say that it's really smooth, and holds the power, only down side is that it has to be warmed up, it slips when cold.....

I think I in-advertently killed my ATS because it needs to be warmed up (Roleld on it for 2 years at sub 500 hp and a few months after going over 700 4th gear started to slip). For a daily driver I don't think the local LEO's would appreciate me lighting it up at a stop light to "warm" my clutch up. LOL.

You can slip them for 15-20s at a stand still, you don't need to dump the clutch. Its in the manual - you can find it online.

Foot on brake, hit the gas like heal-toe down shifting, hold it around 4k rpm, slowly release the clutch (not all the way) give it about 2 10s slips. Clutch warm, stays warm if you are on it.

They will hold about 500ft/lbs cold

I'm no expert. But I had the triple "metallic" Exedy. To me it was hard to drive around town. I thought my clutch was bad when in reality the ring came loose. Thats when I made a choice to the new QM w/HRB. And I love it. Makes some noise on deceleration but it fully street drivable.

Thats for exedy triple carbon. May not be the same for ATS. If your clutch is toast I guess it can't hurt. Just don't want you to do anything to f **** up more O.o

Pedal is soft and Very easy to modulate. It will make some humming noise when the pedal is been modulated.

Yeah I've read the ATS needs to be heated up as well.
