Looks good.

I am very interested in seeing power compares.

1 thing that doesnt come up much, is the angle @ which the o2 housings take from the face of the hotside mating surface.

This o2 housing looks a lot more generous in this radius.

nice work.

did some testing today on the O2 to verify boost control-

0% WGDC (on ECU boost) netted a Boost pressure of 13.0 up to about 13.7-

this car (about 1.5 years ago) was one that had boost creep issues with a divorced o2 dump setup- on 0 WGDC it would creep from 13 to 24psi-

so its working as far as flow-

Baller products as always, Chad. Nice to see you still doing R&D work on stuff for the CT9A.

I too would love to see how it stacks up against some of the best performing O2 housings out there.

WORKS
and
SS Titek V2

come to mind.

Curious to see this up against a JMFab 02 Dump.

We work ALOT with the JMFAB guys--- they actually do production work for us-

but- the only product they made we never liked was the dump setup because the WG tube blocked the exhaust path out of the flapper and causes WG boost creep--

basically a stock turbo (or bolt on stock turbo) run on WG spring pressure would creep almost 10 lbs-- and that would cause issues...

this inadvertently makes people think "oh I picked up power up top" when you are actually picking up power because of the creep (added boost)---

we want to be able to control boost properly so that on the ECU boost track and street cars we see consistent boost in each gear and RPM

the idea behind this dump tube was increased flow through a large primary turbine outlet and WG outlet but still recirculated (we hate the noise also lol same reason ALL of our Garrett style setups have WG recirc'd)

we typically use the newer version invidia which we really like--

did some preliminary testing today- and at the same boost pressures- it was about even- with the exception that it was 26 degrees warmer today than when we tested the invidia setup last--- which usually is about a 10whp difference---

one thing we did notice- we had to run slightly more WGDC up top- meaning there was less back pressure at the flapper allowing it open easier- which is what we were trying to achieve-

I knew you guys worked with them a bunch, so I was definitely interested in hearing your thoughts on the manner. And agreed; Properly controlling boost is quite an important aspect, unless you're someone like I, running a Stock IX turbo on a Stage II LR 2.4L, in which case I'm spinning that little thing as fast as it will go

Once I send the turbo out for an upgrade (after break in), I'll definitely keep this piece in mind, as long as the power loss isn't too much over the JMF dump (which I highly doubt it will be).

Chad, you mentioned that this setup was intended for the larger BBK variants (i.e. B and C), but will there be any significant gains with a BBK full with the usual Inividia O2 and 3"DP?

badass! i cant wait to get one.

quick question thats a little off topic, your oil drain plug has a line running off of it. is that your oil feed for the turbo? if so that location looks a hell of alot easier to use then the way FP's oil line is run and you wouldnt have to use a TORCH to heat it up...
