Turbo XS RFL bov
ive been asking all over these forums if anybody liked the rfl vta and never got a for sure thumbs up answer. so i decided to try it myself and took me no time at all to install eveything you need comes with it almost, all you have to do is go to auto parts store and buy a rubber expanding plug and a 4 inch longer vacuum hose (at oriellys it was $3.24) installed and man i works so great so far i love it so much!!! i will get videos as soon as i can get sombody to host if for me on here, also i read that ppls car stalled i would punch it and push in the clutch *insert extremely loud wistle here* and car revs down like it is going to die but after about 40 to 50 trys and about 3 hours playing with it it never died on me
im using my first setting with just 2 washers in it. it sounds so sweet though!!!!

I had that BOV and it sounded tight as hell but killed my performance. It never killed but at the track i lost a few tenths after i put it on. Removed it with the stock one and picked my times right back up. VTA i guess is really not a good idea for our cars

It sounds like someone sneezing. Also I want to see you crusing at 80 when the car starts to jerk and you look like a jackass because of your BOV causing compresser surge. I know I had 6 different one's on my car and NONE of them work better then stock....

GotBoost,
from your picture i see that you use the stock elbow hose.
make sure you check the hose that comes out of the top of the BOV to the engine, if it's bent too much, it will restrict air flow and not maximize your BOV, i.e. it will flutter alot, from my experience.
i have a shorter elbow hose (you can cut the stock one to adjust).
i;ll take a pic soon, after the sun is out and i'll post asap.

ryan,
since i've gotten my turboxs bov installed, i haven't had major problems like stalling.
and yes, i also notice the jerks or i like to call it "Hesitation" when you let off gas at high rpm & high mph.
the first cpl days were the worst, but it's gotten better now.
the car will pretty much "teach" you how to drive with BOV.
ok pic is coming

noize: some ppl with recirc. have had some similar problems like stalling and others.
in my opinion, BOV is not solely responsible for this bad rep, i think it comes down to the way you drive too (assuming not a defected BOV).
i didn't even tell my wife that i just installed a BOV earlier, and i asked her if she has had any stalling problem and she said "No". she drove my evo alot too.
