I just had a mil.spec 100 cell installed with BR DP and Tanabe Medalion Touring. I already had a '02 WRX with HFC and 3" system with a magnaflow and by comparison I am very surprized how stock like the Evo sounds and smells, it's not as loud nor as smelly as the WRX. It's almost too quiet in that it sounds to me more like stock then I was expecting but it screams at WOT and pulls to the rev limiter without any letup (BBK Full). This combo is super stealthy and I'm very happy with the results. Yes the entrance to the Tanabe necks down to 2.65" and I wonder if that costs me a few horses (or if could have it machined open somehow) but the car seems scary fast to me as it is and I still have cams to go before my mod plan is done.
