i wonder what kinds of codes it throws when you install it... if it's too difficult i'll just send it to Mitsu to have it installed

I just had mine installed at Buschur Racing. Just like Al said, it was a real pain in the *** for them to install. It looks to me like they were able to use the standard BR upper IC pipe though, I don't see any cut and reweld areas on it other than where they put my Tial BOV on in place of the 1G DSM BOV.

I had so many other mods done at the same time that I can't say how much of the extra power is from the SMIM, but I am sure it contributed it's part

Mitsu dealers will not disable any emmissions equipment.... the EGR is removed when you put on the SMIM from Magnus.
