Has anyone tried a sheet metal intake yet?

I wanted to see if anyone has purchased or tried out one of these intake manifolds yet.
I have alyways heard good things about the Magnus intake from DSM guys. Anybody else know anything more about how they are working on our Evo 8's or in general.
I know of Boost Solutions has one on their's and in the works, but has anyone else (not as modified as their's) tried one out yet?
Also what do you think about these, as far as having other upgrades?

Yeah, thats the BJ's. I had forgot the name if you look in my subject area of this post... My bad.
I'm pretty sure that's the same one that Boost Solutions has on their Evo. Correct me if I'm wrong.
How about input from the DSM guys that have seen these on their 4G63's.

A big turbo with cams will love a smim. it's all about matching parts together. Dsm's see very nice gains above 6000 rpms with very little being lost down low. (some as much as 50whp) A magnus manifold is very high on my list but 272's will come first.

I'd like to get that Magnu intake also, pretty sure that I will...
But how can we figure out what the right cam setup is without flow benching it or tons of dyno time? Or is that the only way?

No. Basically any cam upgrade will suffice. You just want one that will increase flow in the upper end. All cams will do that in comparison to the stockers. 272s and smim are a damn near perfect combo but you will want a big turbo to keep up with flow demands.

I ran a 20g with 272's and a SMIM. That was great and thats a good bit smaller then a 35R. Evo guys gains are not going to be quie as good as DSM's because your IM runners are already 5 inches shorter then ours. On the plus side, we lose a more bottom end because of our bigger head ports and 7.8:1 compression.

Thanks guys. Does everything from the stock intake manifold bolt onto the new one or does everything have to be custom made? What was your situations?
