Buschur Stage 1 vs. Buschur Stage II
David,
When I look at your site, I see there is a pretty radical jump in output between your Stage I and Stage II dyno graphs. In fact, all that is really added for power is the maf pipe and the upper intercooler pipe. But power output jumped from 284whp to 343whp. That's 59whp!!!
When I go back and see the stage 1, it shows the stock setup at 256whp and the Stage 1 going to 284whp, making the full turbo-back exhaust, air intake, MBC, and SAFC gain only 28whp.
Right now, I have all your Stage 1 parts. But when I installed them, my car really came alive! I know butt dynos aren't accurate, but here's my question.. finally..
Do the MAF pipe and the upper IC pipe w/ the 1G BOV really make DOUBLE the amount at the wheels that I got from the intake, MBC, SAFC, and full turbo-back?
I'm wondering if your first Stage 1 dyno is a little low for some reason or why this is?
I trapped 107mph with all your parts back when I had the muffler delete pipe and a test pipe- before I ordered the 3" turbo-back. Does the UIC and MAF pipe really make the car come alive? Are the small parts in Stage II always such a big jump on your customer's cars as well? Any insight would be appreciated. I'm very interested to hear your input.

Are the cam gears part of stage 2? If so that could be the difference. Could it be that the stage 2 set up comes on later and pulles to a higher number (mainly a numbers game due to the extra RPM) If you retard the cam timing w/ the adj gears than this could shift your power curve to the 6.5-7 K range instead of the stage 1's 5-6.5K range. Just a theory but maybe it is just a RPM deal from the cam gears, more RPM and the same torque (by shifting the curves due to cam timing) = more HP

I have covered this before. No, the Stage 2 does NOT add that much power.
The Stage 1 graph we have up on the site is with a bunch of prototype mis-matched parts, like a 3" downpipe into a 2.5" catback. We also did not have the AFC on the car in our Stage 1 original dyno charts.
I am guessing the car will gain an additional 15 hp with the Stage 2 package. You also clean up the engine bay, eliminate some bends and length from the intercooler plumbing and drop 20 pounds from the battery kit.

Thanks for replying anyway, David. I did do a search first, but could not find the post.. Sorry about that. After I looked at the shape of the curve for awhile, I thought that there might not be an AFC on there, as the torque curve pretty much mirrored stock, but I was not sure until I asked you. Thanks again.
