Did I get a lemon? -_-
Today I was excited, went to rmr and put in a lot of their mods....I got the IC piping kit, intake/induction piping kit, intake put in @ rmr. I also have their downpipe and catback....right afterwards, I went to xs engineering for a dyno run....226 to the wheels -_- The guys there were confused, that's basically running stock power with all my mods....I'm going to have friends check for leaks but if theres no leaks, is there somethin messed up with my ecu or did I get some kinda lemon, the guy @ xs said maybe some power will come in after more breakin in seeing that I had around 1500 miles on the car....but damn.....can't be that much of a difference....any thoughts guys?

it's wack....theres a boost reading from the dyno, M.A.P. which is in kPa, says the max is 232 kPa @ 3137 rpm....and I checked an online conversion and that goes to 33 psi? -_- I am utterly confused.

yeah ecu was reset @ rmr, guy that helped me just took it for a quick spin around the block and said felt fine....then took it over to xs engineering and -_- But yeah 33 psi is definitely retarded -_- I'll try to get a boost meter in soon so I can see what's up....I'm hoping it's some kind of leak....else I will probably win in the slowest evo contest =D

#1 Did you do a baseline dyno on your car before the mods?...
That way you would know if the mods improved your hp or not.
#2 Get your car tuned for the mods that you just did. You'll definitely see more gains by getting it tuned. Especially since you got an open air filter. It confuses the MAS.
Good luck.

Is the "boost" reading on the dyno gage pressure or absolute pressure?
If it's absolute, then subtract the ~14.7psi and you get 19psi gage. Right around where you want to be, right?
ferb!

well, intakes make next to no power anyways. And the intercooler piping isn't going to make any power at all.
So, then, the issue is why your 3" DP and catback isn't making significant amounts of power. My guess is that you probably had a car that had a low baseline to begin with, but you wont know until you take all those mods off and get it dynoed. You should always dyno the car when its completely stock so you know.
But 226 on XS's dynamic test systems dyno is a bit low for those mods. Mine stock dynoed at 236hp and 259 tq. Can you post up a scan of your dyno chart?

According to the MPA #'s, it converts to about 18.5 pound of boost...something just doesn't add up here -_- Gonna have to check for leaks I guess....if not, could be just computer holding her back....=X

Well...seeing that the boost readings is around where is should be (18.5 psi peak)....can u guys think of nething else except leak and intake confusing the MAF? And even if the intake is confusing the computer, , can it bring down the car's performance that drastically? I've searched around and see talk of sick evos, but nothing definite -_- *sigh* Very troublesome indeed.
