ok. I have a IX rs. and driving normal and right around 40-45mph a noise starts occurring. Its not very loud but its like a humming/vibration within consistant intervals. dont know how to put this in typing but lol... like wooomp...wooomp. and on and on. i hear this up into 60mph or more. highway etc. I know my clutch is toasted and could be a problem, but i dont know what it is. I checked all four wheel bearing with car off ground, they felt fine, but could be them. i usually feel it in the floor.. any help would be excellent.

 

alignment or tire balance?

 

yea i just actually put new wheels and tires on it, balanced etc. alignment cold be an issue.

 

It's worth a shot. If it's been awhile since you have had an alignment done, It wouldn't hurt to refresh it anyways. Just find a good place to do it.

What tires did you go with? Some can be rather noisy at certain speeds.

Jack the car up and check all the bushings (condition of the rubber oe ones or even if they are stiffer aftermarket ones)

eh, I'll stop there. Now I'm just randomly thinking up ideas... free bump lol.
