Rebuild check list
My motor is off at the machine shop for rods and pistons.
My motor had 23k coming out of the car.
Is it nessecary to replace timing belt water pump oil pump?
Only rebuild parts I really have is a new OEM hg and arp L19
What should be replaced at this mileage with a rebuild?

Depending on how your previous motor failed, it's a good idea to get at least a new oil pump and oil cooler setup/lines, to make sure no bearing material gets in your new motor.
It's not necessary to replace the 60K parts, but be prepared to do them when it's time. I personally would do it now that you have the motor out.
Also, don't forget about cam seals and things of that nature that would be beneficial to replace now.
You'll need an Oil Filter Housing Gasket, as well as the gasket for your oil pump shaft. Also, I'd grab a new rear main seal.
Good luck.

I recommend using STM oil cooler delete plugs for a few hundred miles until the engine is broke in and has had a few oil changes as the shaving will get stuck in the new oil cooler. This is what I'm doing and they're only $20. I would recommend a full gasket set, it feels good to have all those replaced while it's apart and easy to get to.

If you just let him know what you're doing and say "What gaskets/parts will I need?" he'll set you up with the stuff you need.
Their digits are: (215) 997-6850

I always use JNZ Tuning for OEM stuff, as well as aftermarket stuff. Ask for Paul and tell him Bob Morrone sent you his way, and I guarantee he will blow any other price you can find out of the water. If you find a better price, he'll price match the best he can.
