will a dsm manifold work?

not 100% no.
the mounting flange is the same. but turbo setups are mirror images due to evo8/9 turbos that spin backwards. this means that any off set a manifold has will also be reverse of whats needed. most manifolds are offset and therefore wont swap. there was a cast t4 manifold made for dsm that had no offset. that manifold could be used on evo as well. there ay be others
