It seems the 3 most recommended clutches here are the ACT, carbonetics, and the competition clutch (and exedy twin but the OP doesn't want that). I've already tried the first two and OEM, and I'll have the competition in my car next week. Maybe the OP should wait for my impressions?

Well the Exedy twin disc is just way to expensive for me. I called JNZ who is gonna install it for me and he recommended either the Exedy Stage 1 Organic clutch or the ACT Heavy Duty Street disc setup. I have been using a ACT 2600 w/ street disc in my galant vr4 for many years and also in dsm's i have owned and never had any problems. I have heard many times that ACT was having many problems with there newer clutchs with the springs falling out or the fingers on the PP breaking.

As of right now im more leaning towards the Exedy Organic HD Clutch Kit. http://www.jnztuning.com/product_inf...325e5470bf0c6e

Also was looking to the Competition Clutch Stage 2 Clutch. They are both right around the same price range.

I have narrowed it down to 3 clutches. What do you think would be the best choice of the 3 that will last the longest without any issues.

#1 choice--Competition Clutch Stage 2 Clutch...Heard good reviews, but never hear to much about Comp clutchs so not sure how they last and drive

Would you use the throw out bearing ACT provides or go with an oem throw out bearing?

I dd an exedy twin hd and its not ridiculous like some would suggest that haven't driven on it. If you plan on making bigger power, why would you change the clutch twice?

The complaints of many users on the amount of noise from a twin disc with daily driving is plenty to drive people away. I'm not a fan of the twins, they are too loud for my liking. Also if he stays on a stock block then he should not be pushing the torque very far which there are several single plate clutches that can handle the power. Clutches such as the Comp 2100 and 2600 for example.
