FIC2150CC single walbro e85 ?
#17
60 post might not, but 12 years experience might.
Fact # 1 - All in the user, I have seen people with great results and some with horrible results. I myself have exceed the capabilities of a 255lph and switched to a DW 320lph pump and cured my fuel issues. However the very next guy might have a totally different experience.
Fact # 2 - You don't know that he doesn't have a AFPR kit. However to entertain you for some reason your upset.
Walbro 400lph - In no time they will sell for 200.00
AFPR Install Kit - 180.00, or you can put together yourself one for cheaper
Re-wire - 30.00
Total - 410.00 vs Buschur 500.00 + shipping back and forth. (Possibly + core)
However, I'm not against you at all. I recommend Buschur double pumpers often and suggest them for anything over 600whp to be dead honest. When setup correctly they do wonders, however I'm a fan of a single drop in when it's capable. Especially one that will actually carry a warranty with e85 use. If you pop a standard Walbro they tell you to get bent, if you haven't dealt with their customer service or warranty in your time, your in for a ride!
Opinion - It is just that, and opinion. You know the saying.....
I'm not trying to argue with you, but if you want me to explain my opinion of a drop in Walbro to someone I have worked with for over 3 years, by all means I will do so for you.

With an inline, I worry about the inline pump failing. The pumps are made to pickup fuel, not have it forced into it. That is why there is a ton of Bosch 044 failures. My surge tank is never pressurized and is just picking up from the tank. Haven't had an issue yet!

Adam, I changed it back for you, there you go... I didn't know who you were LOL... No hard feelings, but I want to offer my customers a more long lasting solution so that they don't have to keep upgrading...
Here is the simple answer, you have options, there is a ton of useful info on the forums, I suggest you gander through a few threads, particularly these two, with factual information posted by one of the most trusted members on this site...

Too many variables for me, I simply put it in the car. If it doesn't work, take it out. I base my experiences and recommendations for parts off of my personal usage. If I haven't used a product before, I'm going to go with my gut feeling. I have a ton of room for feelings in my gut, and many years to fill it up.
