Fixed everything but the leak at idle. Don't know what else it could be besides the divided gasket.

The stock Evo turbos come fitted with an adjustable WGA. If you are able to easily pull the actuator rod to the point where you can lift the flapper valve(wastegate puck) off its seat then you need to adjust the spring pressure higher.

Why would you want to go and buy a new WGA? How much boost were you running before you changed to the O2 dump housing? Did you not touch the WGA at all during the installation of the O2 dump? Did you leave it alone? You didn't remove it by removing the two bolts that secure the WGA bracket to the compressor housing? Did you have to remove the cotter pin and remove the turnbuckle tip of the actuator rod from its location on the flapper valve's pivot arm.

I take it that you were running less than 30 PSI before changing O2 housings. What was your previous boost level? Did you already have the MBC on the car before changing O2 housings or did you install the MBC at the same time that you installed the dump?

When you saw the boost spike to 30 PSI did you try turning the boost level down with your MBC to no avail? What I am trying to find out is whether it spikes to 30 PSI with the MBC adjustment knob turned all the way out counterclockwise to its lowest boost setting?

Do you think that there might be an internal clearance issue vis-a-vis the flapper valve not having sufficient clearance to shut completely in this particular dump design? I am just wondering as I aim not familiar with the design of your particular O2 dump.

What do you mean by "Fixed everything..."? What exactly is everything? Does this mean that boost is no longer spiking to 30 PSI? It just sounds like an exhaust leak at idle now but the boost level is back to normal?

If you did in fact fix things....what did you fix and how did you fix it?

I think there was a cut in the line to boost controller. Put new one on boost is fine. Exhaust is still leaking from the dump pipe. I may just check the gasket and go from there.

So, once you fixed the cracked boost hose the turbo stopped overboosting? That's good. And the exhaust noise at idle is probably due to the non-divorced gasket as others suggested. Glad that you resolved the issues.

If that is the issue then vsrf sent me the wrong gasket with the housing.

make sure it looks like the one in the middle/right. i've also heard you don't need to run one at all too

good luck
