Stupid Question: Can you "plug" a IX T-Case and use it in an VIII?

Hey guys,

Someone local to me has a Shep Stage 3 T-Case up for sale for extremely cheap, however, the T-Case sent to Shep was from a IX. I don't know how the ACD stuff works exactly, however, is there any way I could run the T-Case in my VIII without the electronics?

Don't mean to sound like a moron, I'm just a noob when it comes to ACD stuff.

Thanks!

I guess my question is that when ACD is removed, how tight is the t-case, aka, at the level of tarmac, gravel, or snow? If you just take ACD stuff off, the parts inside are still meant to function using an ACD pump and electronics. Thus, how do they act when it's not hooked up?

you can remove acd from your 9. but you will need an 03-04 case to do it. you cant use the acd case without a working pump pushing fluid to the clutches.
