they quieted down a bit and my dads friend whos a mechanic said they will quiet more as i drive.

My evo and my room mates evo don't sound like that at all! He has HKS 272's and mine was on OEM cams.. That is loud. How does it sound when you rev it up?

Like a previous person said get a stethoscope they're super cheap! Probe around the cylinder head and valve cover to listen for the noise. That almost sounds like a collapsed lifter to me.

Isn't mystery oil similar to transmission fluid?

With your new video it still sounds like your lifters aren't in great condition. Then again it could be another issue.. Get a stethoscope.

Its called marvel mystery oil it cleans out stuff in your motor like carbon build up and loostens up the lifters like i said i might need to put some miles on the stuff before it makes a big difference

if it was a spun bearing it would give a grinding and knocking sound and you would know yeah thats not right.

update i ordered gsc no tick lifters they are all getting replaced along with fresh plugs and a new pvc valve. if that dosent take the ticking away i give up..

put in the gsc zero tick lifters changed my plugs changed the pcv valve and did a compression test.....videos
