It's blown. I can't think of any other way the oil gets in there. Why did you switch HG?

My (I'm the OP) problem was the timing was too high causing the head to lift. At your power level in your sig were you using the 9 HG too? What head studs are you using?

thanks for the response i was using l19 head studs and a cometic gasket i actually installed one of a local evo for a customer of mine i do a lot of side work and was impressed with it so i decided to use one on my new build. so do i have to get the head milled down again, it never over heated. just wondering please point me in the right direction.

I'd at least get it check for flatness at the machine shop.
