evo 9 fuse 8 keeps blowing while driving...PLEASE HELP!

evo 9 fuse 8 keeps blowing while driving...PLEASE HELP!

hi, i just got a clutch installed on my evo 9 and i was driving on the highway and my car just shut off out of no where. the next day i diagnosed the problem and found out it was fuse 8 in the fuse box under the hood that keeps blowing. I have been looking everywhere to what the fuse is for or what it could be and i cant fine anything. Please help! thank you

did you find the problem because mine is doing the same thing and the only thing y replace was the shifter bushing on the base and the cables under the hood. it did the exact same thing

Fuse #8 controls the following:

crank sensor
egr solenoid valve
engine control module
evap vent solenoid
evap purge solenoid
exhaust cam sensor
fan relay
fuel pressure solenoid
heated o2 sensor
idle air control motor
immobilizer-ECU
intake cam sensor
injector resistor
MFI relay
oil feed control valve
turbo wastegate solenoid
volume airflow sensor

Most have found the problem to be either fan relay or rear 02 sensor. Good luck.

Mine was doing same thing turns out it was rear o2 grounding out and shorting. Check your wires for any missing insulation. If that's not it then check your fan by spinning it if it has an abnormal amount of friction compared to you other one than that's your problem.

I'm currently looking into this same issue. I'm going to start with a possible short in the o2 sensor wire.
