Evo 8/9 Magnus SMIM install - throttle body flip?

Recently picked up an older version magnus intake manifold for the evo 8. I noticed the throttle cable bracket is on the underside of the manifold. I could not really find any info on it or pictures of installs, so I ask anyone has one of these, do you flip the throttle body upside down or rotate it a 1/4 turn? Do you have to delete the FIAV to prevent from hitting the firewall? I just thought that seemed weird. Any info is appreciated, especially an installed picture.

It installs just like it does on the OEM manifold.

But on an oe manifold the throttle cable bracket is on the front near the fuel rail. On this one it is on the exact opposite side of the manifold.

Bolt the bracket to the mount on the bottom of the manifold, once you do that, you'll see that the cable runs to the throttle body just like it did before.

The cable bolts are a serious PITA. During my build, I got to where I installed the cable and threaded the bolts in a bit before completely installing it and would recommend doing that so you're not spending 30 minutes trying to thread them in a cramped space.

FWIW... the Magnus SMIM loses power over the stocker at any power level... they don't work as well as they did on DSM's...

This is correct if you're talking about the one and only test DB did on the version 1 manifold, the version 2 I have makes at least 15whp over stock in more than one test.
