FP green questions

from what ive read the fp green sounds like the turbo for me. Had a few questions

What size injectors are needed for e85 on this set up with full bolt ons. 1000?

Will a 255 fuel pump work or do I need something bigger

from what ive read the fp green is a direct bolt on do I need to get an 02 dump or will my upgraded normal 02 housing work?

Do i need anything other then just the turbo? I heard some people say you need fp oil lines but I havent gotten a 100% on this.

And on E85 this should put me over 400whp correct?

will a stock engine be ok with a fp green on e85?

THanks guys

You will need larger injectors than that to max out the FP Green on e85, something such as FIC 1450.

255lph pump will be fine.

Yes it is drop in.

The oil lines are recommended, to be sure to be covered I would get the lines.

You will be over 400whp on 93 pump gas not too sure about 91, but if your goal is 400whp on e85 you can do it on stock turbo.

would this set up IYO be reliable? really shooting for something mild already have a spun block that im thinking of buying and building myself. But until that time I would like to run something pretty fast.

anything can be reliable with a safe tune, keep the torque close to or under 400. it also comes down to your driving habbits, don't be suprise you *** something up pounding the car everyday.

+1 on the oil feed line.
FIC 900's and Stock fuel pump are getting me around 420 on 91
stock o2 housing is fine.
and like they said... Should be fine if the torque stays reasonable.

I ran 1250's and they were a little too small for E85 and FP HTA green with 255 pump. With bigger injectors its difficult to say if 255 will be enough.

You dont need o2 dump. But if your looking for best power, get recirculated 3" o2 housing. I've had both. A 3" o2 housing recirculated or dumped works better than 2.5" with dump. But if your not trying to max every single hp then your average 2.5" recirculated o2 will do ok.

You dont need to run the FP oil lines for the journal bearing HTA Green. It was the red and black that was almost an absolute must with higher zddp oil. But if you have one wont hurt. I always ran higher zddp oils with my Green on stock head. Zero issues and no shaft play. Also you can run kiggly's HLA. This will help in 2 ways. It will reduce over spray of oil under the valve cover and slightly raise oil pressure to the heads oil feed line. Also in combo with good zddp oil Amsoil Z-Rod or Diesel oil, Brad Penn etc...

You can be well within low to mid 400 zone and HTA green without needing e85 w/ proper supporting mods. And E85 can put you in 500 whp zone with propoer supporting mods. (stock block)

Stock engine will be ok, but it depends on the TUNE/TUNER. Keep low end torque down and stay away from knock.

On 93 pump I made 430 whp and e85 was like 489 whp and running out of fuel. Also notice how quickly this turbo spools. Very close to stock.

93 octane

e85 The dip up top is because I was running out of fuel, otherwise it would keep climbing.

If your interested, I got HTA green for sale. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sa...en-ported.html

Also forgot to mention. If your car is an Evo 8 with 8 turbo, you will need the Evo 9 J pipe and I think the oil/water lines as well .

Winkydog, check out FP's website. They have a great install kit for our 8s to run the green. I was looking at it this morning, and based on the numbers and less headache on install, I'm considering going the same route and selling the 35r I have. The FP numbers and performance that is just bolt up with a few supporting mods and a good tune looks too good to not do. Anyone want a 35r? lol

This guy has been there and done what the OP wants to do. So, probably 1450's and a modded(punched) Wally with either a hotwire kit, or a Boost-a-pump, to increase voltage would be a bare minimum as far as fuel delivery is concerned.
