Question Test Pipe or Bad cat? Evo 8

My cat has gone bad(stock cat) and I know this because it smells like rotten eggs lol I have a test pipe already but not sure if i can safely drive with it on. I have searched for this answer but only threads of evo X's come up and im not sure if it will be the same for evo 8's?

Well my question is, can I run a test pipe on stock tune? This is with a WORKS drop in filter and Buschur magnaflow catback. I know i should get a tune because of going lean and overboost problems but i wont be able to tune until a month or 2. I am waiting until I get a downpipe, MBC, and fuel pump.

Will I be ok driving a month or 2 with a test pipe, catback, drop in filter with NO tune? Or will i be better off driving with a bad cat?

Alright cool, ill be putting it on right away
Another question though, can I still boost or do I have to completely stay out of boost until the tune?

Haha alright man was just a little scared of the stories about running to lean and motors blowing lol or is that just with a downpipe?

Just installed it and car definitely sounds better! doesn't even smell that bad like everyone says, I was scared of smell lol

An antifouler backs your rear o2 sensors out of the direct flow of exhaust gases. The rear o2 sensor is for emission purposes and it also makes sure your CAT is doing its job.

With the anti fouler installed it won't read all the exhaust gas that a test pipe lets through there for it won't trigger the CEL light for a bad catalytic converter.

Hope that helped
