Do you need to upgrade the valve springs if you have cossi m2 272 cams or would it be a waste of money?

You can, but I wouldn't recommend it nor would I recommend running the engine past 7000rpm until doing the springs. Do it right the first time and save money and possible headache down the road.

My car ran around with the M2s and stock springs for 3 years or so without issue, with the limiter set at 7500. A little over 50K miles were put on it during that time.

Im still running them on my current setup too, just with Buschur's Head/springs etc.

May as well just do it while you are putting the cams in.

The stock springs will 'work' with any aftermarket cam set, just as the car will 'run' on cheaper, lower octane fuel.

Neither can be expected to deliver best power.

Ia bermakna bahawa menggunakan spring asal tidak adalah idea yang baik.

Perhaps that will clarify things.

I just did Cosworth M2 on mine with stock springs. So far so good. But I wish I wouldve spent another $200-$300 on springs and retainers.

I did super tech springs and retainers when I did my M2s. I could have left the stockers in place
