I can. You can see my mods below. My BC peaks at about 22 in 1st-3rd and drops after 5500 rpms to about 20.5. In 4th adn 5th peaks to 23.5, drops to 21. And I gained HP. Ran it on the dyno last week, set it at 21 in 3rd, got 281WHP/281ft/lbs. Raised it on my next run to 22.5, 297WHP/308ft/lbs.

I recently got DYNOflashed and I set my MBC to 21.5 PSI. Does anyone thing this to high I will spike up to 22 sometimes. I think I will set my Boost to 20PSI unless I am running at the track. I am in Atlanta and it is currently in high 60s everday with lows in 40s?

23 psi,93 octane gas and a warranty that just wont quit(lol).EGT's
are close to 1400 after a long pull(thats not celicus) and no oil
loss between oil changes.BTW,at night when I pop the hood and
look down behind the exhaust manifold, the turbine housing is
cherry red, just like I was casting it myself.

I'm installing my gauges this weekend and since I'm doing them I was gonna put my MBC on as well. I have a HKS racing suction intake, HKS downpipe, and HKS carbon-ti cat back. What would be safe to run on 93 ontane?

I don't understand what to do with the MBC to get rid of the boost taper. do I just turn it up enough so when it does taper it goes down to 19?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'm really just wanting to get rid of the taper. I'm really not interested in running more boost.

Nice. I plan on pushing 21.5-22 PSI when I get tuned with the cams.

340 WHP on pump or bust!

still needing some boost controll here. what is the point of even changing out if you are running stock boost with a boost controller and it still tapers??? when i get my mbc, im going to hook it up in between the vacuum lines of the turbine housing and the wastegate, there is no way im using the BOV to regulate boost.

That is with cams,264's that is.It keeps pulling, and pulling and pulling and pulling, right up untill the pistons melt down, but thats what warranty is for.
BTW,93civEJ1,that is just what the mbc was designed to be hooked up as,just rid the factory boost controll solenoid from the loop altogether

Measuring Boost

Where are you guys measuring your boost at on your EVO's. Are you measuring it off the turbo or off the BOV. ? Just Curious.
