Evo Valve Lash and Timing Marks
I just got my engine rebuilt and my friend mentioned to me that I should check the timing marks and the valve lash on the motor. Is it possible to do valve lash or not? If yes then How would i go about doing it?

You don't have adjustable lifters or rocker arms so you can't adjust valve lash. If you don't hear any ticking coming from the head then your fine on that part.
Timing marks are simple: On the crank with the motor at TDC there will be a small notch on the pulley that should line up with a small arrow around the 2 o'clock position. And on the cams, you will see 2 notches on the valve cover
