Evo 8 to Evo 9 Mivec swap

Evo 8 to Evo 9 Mivec swap
I have a 2003 Evo 8 that I am swapping an Evo 9 Mivec engine into. I am wondering what parts I need to do the swap. If someone has experience with the swap or knows what I would need to do the swap that would be greatly appreciated. As of right now, from everything I have read, I know I need the Evo 9 ecu and also the engine wiring harness, correct? If you know of anything else I need please let me know cuz I would like to get my Evo running again ASAP. And I am not doing any upgrades to the engine as of right now. I am just looking to put the Mivec in stock. So any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Evo 8 to 9 swap
In my car when I bought it was already swapped, but they used the Evo 9 engine harness and used a aem ems. They used the tranny from the 9 but everything else was Evo 8.

Thank you guys. Greatly appreciated. I just wish I would have had the money to get another Evo 8 engine. But I already had the 9 engine so it's going into my 8. Again I appreciate the info and will be posting pics of the swap as it takes place.
