Exedy clutch. What did they update? Floater? Pressure plate? or what?

Exedy clutch. What did they update? Floater? Pressure plate? or what?

I heard or read somewhere that exedy updated something in their twin and tripple clutch? but I couldn't find the post anymore

Did they update/upgrade the floaters? or Pressure plates? or Discs or what?

they updated the hub design the dics no longer sit on your input shaft so they can round off they now sit on a hub that sits on the shaft instead there are few threads that explain it.

Sure be nice if they could resolve the "clip popping off" issue.

They have. See here:

I knew someone would post that. From what someone from STM told me (based on personal experience), that doesn't entirely resolve this issue as the clip could still pop off.

Seems like a complete design flaw and it pisses me off that we can pay so much for a car and have something silly like this be an issue.
