titanium rods

there are a couple companies out there that will produce them, I was just wondering if anyone was running a set from one of the manufactures. There could be quite a benefit I would think, from what the manufacturers say they weigh about 1/3 the weight of a similar 4340 or similar rod, which means faster rev, less stress on bearings, among other things. I believe that the NSX came stock with titanium rods. Discuss.

This forum has a search feature. It took me all of 30 seconds to find this:

haha, not trying to be rude, but I might just do that.....you want people to play, you gotta ask , and I have read that thread, but my main quesion was if anyone was running a set, and experience people have had with them, but it sounds like, very few people if any have them set up in a 4g63t

Let me know where you got the crystall ball that predicts the future ;-) The TI rod engine is still @ the shop and has never been in the car yet. It was the stock motor that I melted down last fall due to a clogged injector. The new engine will be in the car this summer.
