So after finding oil all over my oil feed line and motor I noticed the banjo bolt was loose. So I thought. I took it out and noticed there were some threads from the motor on the bolt. WTF. So I wrapped the bolt and screwed it back it and it locked tight. Few.. The next time I start to hear a noise and its coming from the turbo. Oh no. Come to find that the turbo has been starved of oil and has major shaft play! Time for a new turbo. Thank god for tax season because I was not prepared to buy a turbo. I decided since I'm buying a new turbo might as well buy a hta green (jb) and see how I like it. What should I expect to make on a mustang dyno with my mods on pump gas.. Stock block, Gsc s2s, buschur street core ic kit, map short runner exhaust manifold. Map o2 dump. 1250cc injectors. Turbo back exhaust.. I'm assuming this turbo is going to be a BLAST on the streets!

First do an oil change and check your oil filter for metal shavings cause that could be another problem other than your turbo. Just for peace of mind.

+1 on this recommendation. Absolutely double check the contents of your oil. Never know what else might have happened due to oil starvation. Would hate to see you install a new turbo and the engine grenade. And you will have an absolute blast with the green on the street for sure! Good luck.

Oil has already been drained, we did not notice any shavings. its just sitting at the shop on the lift until the new one comes in.

Ive got similar mods on my IX--Kelfords instead of GSC's but the car is fun. The torque comes on fast, you'll enjoy it. Love how my Green sounds on the street.

Thanks for the replies. I can't wait. Ill make sure to post some results! Unfortunately were getting hit with a blizzard in MASS and I won't be able to get it tuned for awhile..
