Question O2 housing and ex manifold studs and bolts

Interesting, are you changing studs and bolts if they are ok when you changing the turbo?

New nuts, studs, and bolts are extremely cheap so I see most people buying new fasteners for new turbos.

Yes yes yes yes change them. I just ran into this problem not too long ago.

I swapped out my manifold (stock manifold to an ETS stock replacement) and re used the manifold studs. It lasted a couple of months and then the studs started to sheer off. I dealt with the exhaust leak for a little while. I changed out my turbo and O2 like 2 weeks ago and replaced all the studs/bolts/nuts and gaskets. Runs like a champ now with no exhaust leaks.

The whole setup as far as gaskets, bolts, nuts, washers, studs and such was around $300 IIRC from STM. I ordered from STM because they were the only ones that had all of the bolts/studs/washers/nuts/gaskets available. I wanted everything to show up in one box instead of trying to keep track of 5 different packages.

Let me know if you have any questions, I can go back and look at what I ordered to give you an idea
