Holy ancient thread Batman!
T3/T4 Hybrids have been available in Ball Bearing for years now.
50trims have proven themselves to be awsome turbos, many shops have been selling T3/T4 Stage III 65mm turbine wheel hybrids with a combination of Compressor wheels.
(in Fact the PTE5557; PTE5857 are all derived from such hybrid tech)
Older aero T3/T4 style turbos are more effecient on pump gas on lower boost levels 23-25psi and still are a very cost effective solution which even feature twin scroll options these days with some even sporting billet wheels.
GT Style turbo's are more effecient at higher boost levels 30psi+
However with the newer stock frame Hybrids from FP, CBRD, HKS, Tomei, etc - the 50trim style hybrids are not in fashion among the EVO community anymore...
