competition clutch problems

so about a year ago my car lost 1-2 gear it was just sloppy nothing there this was with the stock clutch
my roll pin had broke and the clutch and flywheel somehow fused together
so I replaced it with a stage 4 competition 6 puck sprung clutch and light weight flywheel
a year later I had adjusted the clutch a couple days prior and I launched it first time in months
it launched outstanding when I went to shift to 2nd it wouldnt go in so I came to a stop and it wouldnt go in gear in idle and if I had the car off and put it in 1st and tried starting it .it would jump forward .well my clutch disc and pressure plate had fused together but came apart

what could have went wrong
2nd clutch and flywheel in a year

Hmmm, dont know about that but launching (more importantly how you launch) would be the main cause if it built enough heat to weld. I would suggest the street disc in an unsprung.

sounds like the same issue I had with my comp stage 3.5. The disc when new is nice and rigid. After a few auto cross days and launching the car the disc would flex. Think of a snapple cap when you pop it back and forth. My disc was doing the same thing. It lost all its rigidness.

Hi, I have just had the same issue now on my new quartermaster 8 leg race clutch,
Car was on the dyno we did 5 runs in total zero issues, tuner tried to set lc this Saturday 1 launch at 6000rpm and it bogged tried next one at 6500 and7kph wheel speed and bogged again but this time no clutch.

Tuner put the car on the hoist and bled hydraulic bearing etc with no change so we had to pull the box.

The copper on the legs were fused to the floaters.

The clucth does not even have 5 km on it.

Let's hope MAP can assist in investigating as it's pretty difficult being an international buyer.

it seemed like a normal
I didnt rape it with slippage
I held it at launch control for a sec and let my clutch out
I didnt dump it
I slipped it a little
maybe I dont kno how to drive

I loved it while it lasted
my buddy has been running the same clutch and flywheel for 2 years now
I got the same setup again hoping it was a bad install
