While it may indeed be a leaking headgasket, before you go pulling the head, I would insure that its not just the cold weather causing the white exhaust.

In another thread the OP says he has a muffler but no cat then changes his mind and says he has a cat but no muffler. Also, he states there's a code for running too rich. So, anyway, I think he is new to the car (and car mechanics).

I've seen cars that were very very rich and they had white smoke out of the exhaust. The white smoke was just unburnt fuel. There was also a strong odor of gasoline.

Another check to tell if it's burning coolant/got a bad head gasket is to pull the plugs
IF they look brand spankin new they've been steam cleaned from the coolant vaporizing (unless they are indeed brand spankin new). This is most valid if you have old plugs, and one shows up really clean and the others are old looking.
Other people have mentioned it above, but check the coolant and oil for contamination/bubbles.
Also, how old/watered down is the gas in the car, or is it fresh?
