Question O2 Housing install question.

I really didn't want to put an exhaust on my car at this point but I need to do my front sway bar and my exhaust is rusted pretty bad. I bought a TB AMS so that I wouldn't have to worry about breaking the hardware on the stock equipment. Now it seems if I do the TBE I "Have" to get tuned so I though I might as well do the O2 housing too. My question is, my car being form up north and being quite rusty, is there a chance of the bolts that hold the O2 housing to the turbo breaking off in my turbo? I guess my question is how many people have seen this happen before?

Thanks guys for the help!

bead blaster!!!! spray and soak bolts, let sit for about 30min-1hr. remove the exhaust manifold to take off 02 housing, thats the easiest way of doing it.

So pull the manifold + turbo together and do it on a bench?

I lived in the NE for over 25 years. Before you touch it buy some Kroil. I have never broke a bolt using this stuff. If the rust is really bad spray it on the bolts the night before really good and let is soak, right before you try them it them again. This stuff is awesome. Google Kroil and they have a google deal for 2 cans.

seperate the manifold from the head and turbo, you can do this without removing the turbo
