Evo 6 Idle Problem
Hi guys,
Got an idle issue with my evo 6 gsr. When its warm it has an erratic idle, when you start it from cold it revs at about 1200rpm and then gradually increases as the temperature rises and will then eventually cut up and down from 2000 down to 1500 and up again.
Took it to Mitsubishi and they took the stepper motor out and cleaned it and reset its position, still no luck- they reckon its either the idle control valve or ecu.
Here's a video of it.
Any thoughts or similar experiences would be appreciated.
Cheers.

No cel at the moment, there has been in the past for AFM but that was put down to the extra flow coming through the pod filter. I've checked for vacuum leaks everywhere, I thought it might have been from the boost gauge I installed but I put spring clamps on all of those connections so no air coming out/in there.
Really weird today it was the other end of the scale, after driving to uni like the video posted (revs up and down), I then drove home around 2 hours later and it was stalling. Had to rev to keep it alive. I didn't even touch anything. haha, evos.
