Ticking from intake timing pulley??
Hey people's
Just picked up a IX RS, LOVE IT. But I've noticed some ticking noises coming from the timing belt. Pulled the cover off and it seems to be coming from the intake (side) pulley. Is this a big issue? Anyone else get this?
65k on the clock. Had timing belt replaced at 58k at AMS.
Thanks!

Here is a video of it, from last night. I took off the cover today and further inspected that it was the pulley for the "intake side." We're thinking it could be bearings? The belt doesn't wobble at all.. nothing. Just that awkward noise...

Now that I'm thinking of it... It came about right after an oil change... People are saying aftermarket filters cause a tick, could the purolator one be the culprit? Unfortunately, my OEM filters won't be here for a week or so. I'm going to change them out when I receive it. See what happens.

In case anyone was wondering...
I dropped out the oil and the Pure One purolator filter and put in new M1 with an OEM filter and no ticks! Just the injectors/4g63 doing their thing.
In conclusion, dont buy purolator filters...
