Stock Location Plastic Fuel Tank

We had an unlucky ethanol issue past month
We don't have E85 off the pump here in Turkey and we buy the Ethanol and mix it ourselves (car has Haltech Ethanol Content Analyzer so we can do measure the E85)

We put it in the car, ran the car without any problems
Left the ethanol in the tank for 3 weeks
Started the car, realized a fuel pressure loss
Remove the fuel hanger to check the pumps and realized the filters were all filled up, and the whole interior of the tank had corrosion
Apparently there was an acidic chemical additive in the ethanol

Long story short, we need a new tank and we don't want to have the same problem again

1) We need the tank to be plastic
2) It needs to fit the stock location (we can use 2 seperate tank since we cannot find one piece that looks like the the oem one)
3) Top cap location don't matter since we can cut the metal underneath the rear seat to have an opening for it

I found a fuel tank from Summit Racing that will fit. It's dimension is 13'' x 13'' x 8''

Any other options that you can recommend?

What are my other options when upgrading from the oem tank and having the tank in the stock location??

Here is the tank I found:

do you consider coating inside of tank with epoxy designed to shield metal from gas? aftermarket tanks is just a horrible idea if you ask me.

Pour in some catalyzed paint, seal all openings and mount it to the face of a small cement mixer. Let the mixer run until the paint dries.

I had the same in-tank rust problem and decided that if reinstalling the tank was as much of a PITA as it was taking it out, it wasn't worth coating the inside nor buying a good, used one for no less than $240 for shipping alone. Sold off the whole fuel system and upgraded.

Click the link in my sig, the 1st post has pics of everything.

I used a 16 gallon Summit Racing plastic fuel cell in the trunk. Ran the AN lines to the hard lines under the car.

Fuel cell
RedHorse and Earl -8 AN fittings
Nylon braided AN hose
Fuelab inline filter
Walbro inline 255lph fuel pump
Summit Racing digital fuel gauge(OEM will no longer work with cell)

Supposedly the 2G DSM AWD tank fits in the EVO VIII/IX. It's plastic and raised in the middle to clear the driveline.

There's also a carbon fiber stock replacement but it obviously isn't cheap.
